The Midcounties Co-operative is delighted to be a founding member of the “Oxford is My World” partnership. As a co-operative business owned by local people, but linked to co-operatives around the world, it knows the importance of every person and organisation co-operating together to tackle climate change.
It has already taken action in its own local businesses, including food, funeral, motors, travel, pharmacy and childcare, to reduce its own impact through purchasing 100% green energy, switching to recycled paper and encouraging local sourcing.
